Water Project for Gom Village

During the 2017 covention the association embarked on raising funds for a water project for one of the villages in Nwa Sub-Division, Gom. Gom is said to be home to a population of over 90000 people and is the largest or the second largest village in the Nwa Sub-Division. Gom is said to be one of the economic areas in the Sub Division so endowed with natural agricultural resources like Palms, Pineapple, plantains, banana just to name these few. Unfortunately, the lack of water in the area has made life very difficult for the inhabitants making it near impossible for the people to reap the full benefits of their natural resources. The lack of good drinking water has led to many avoidable health issues or even deaths. The initial goal for this project was set at $7000. So far we have been able to raise over 50% of the projected amounted. The funds have been duly disbursed to the authorities and the project is ongoing.
